Student assist in the programme "AI & Labour Markets"

Student assistant in the programme "AI & Labour Markets" (m/f/d)

interface is a European think tank specializing in digital technologies, politics and society. Our aim is to provide policy makers with expertise and ideas - free from commercial interests or party politics.

Our AI and Labour Markets program is a pioneering research initiative examining the complex dynamics of AI talent across the European Union. This comprehensive study explores international talent flows, workforce trends, and gender disparities in the AI sector. By analyzing data on talent migration, retention, and the impact of global competition, we provide crucial insights to policymakers, industry leaders, and academic institutions about the evolving AI labor landscape.

The program's research covers a wide range of topics, from the challenges of attracting and retaining international AI professionals to the persistent gender gap at various career levels. Our recent publication, "Where is Europe's AI workforce coming from? Immigration, Emigration & Transborder Movement of AI talent," was well-received. Our next data brief on the gender gap in the AI talent pool is publishing next month.

Through rigorous academic research and practical policy recommendations, we aim to enhance Europe's competitiveness in the global AI arena. Our work addresses critical issues such as brain drain and gender inequality, contributing to the region's technological advancement and economic growth.
